Do you see these stories in your feeds? It might make sense to clear out your reading history and double check that you're not following some of these authors, as for the most part these kinds of stories have greatly declined in distribution (though we do still sometimes see them showing up in the personalized aspects of our recommendations). If you see an example of this that you don't think is related to reading history or explicit follows, can you share it and I can take a look at what might be happening.
